The Public Health Awareness in LA presenter is Christine Brennan, PhD, RN, NP-BC who currently the Principal Investigator and Director of the South Central AIDS Education and Training Center at LSU Health – New Orleans
The Louisiana Federation of Licensed Practical Nurses is a state affiliate 0f the National Association of Licensed Practical Nurse. We subscribe to the same principles .

Any student who has been an LFLPN member for at least three months who has earned a 4.0 Grade Point Average for the duration of their program will receive a $200 check with our congratulations at our March convention. If you are a candidate, please ask your instructor to send us your documentation no later than February. We encourage you to also apply for the scholarship from National Association of Licensed Practical Nurses at NALPN.ORG/education/scholarships.

New Members who joined in 2018 after the March Convention, through December 2018, will receive their membership pins at the March 2019 Convention in a short Pinning Ceremony.
Anyone who joins January through December 2019 will receive their pins at the March 2020 Convention.
